Nighttime erection tracking, defined
Nighttime erection tracking is the at-home measurement of the erections that happen on their own during sleep: how many occur, how firm they get and how long they last. FirmTech, which publishes this guide, makes the TechRing for exactly this job.
Because these erections happen without arousal, FirmTech describes them as a clean read of blood flow, nerves and hormones. It also points out that penile arteries are smaller than the heart’s, so changes in circulation often show up there first. Until recently, measuring them meant a sleep lab. The TechRing does it in your own bed and syncs each night to the FirmTech app in the morning.
